About us

What started as a love for beautiful, livable spaces quickly turned into a mission to make them more accessible. Our founder, Karina, brings a unique background in hotel management, law, and marketing plus years of flipping Airbnbs across Europe. After diving into interior design at the New York School of Art and Design and the Home Staging Institute, she built Furnitent to help others create amazing spaces without the stress or commitment of buying everything outright.

Karina is joined by Sasha, our interior designer and stylist with an eye for comfort and charm. Educated in the Netherlands and Italy, Sasha’s all about making spaces feel instantly warm and inviting whether it’s for a home, a staging project, or a one-of-a-kind event.

And holding everything together is Abigail, our operations whiz. She makes sure deliveries go smoothly, every item arrives in perfect shape, and our clients feel taken care of from start to finish.

How does the rental process work?

Our fashion rental process is simple and convenient. First, browse our extensive collection of designer clothing and accessories. Once you've found the perfect item, select your rental duration, ranging from a few days to several weeks. Add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout. We'll ship the item to your doorstep, and you can enjoy wearing it for the specified rental period. When you're done, return it using the prepaid shipping label provided. We take care of cleaning and maintenance so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the latest fashion trends without the commitment of buying.

What happens if I damage or stain a rented item?

Accidents can happen, and we understand that. Please notify us immediately if you accidentally damage or stain. We have a dedicated team to assess and handle such situations. Depending on the damage or stain extent, you may incur additional charges, which will be communicated to you. We strongly recommend reviewing our rental agreement for specific terms and conditions regarding damage and stains. We take great care to maintain the quality of our items, so we appreciate your honesty and timely reporting of any issues.

Can I purchase a rented item if I fall in love with it?

Absolutely! If you rent an item and find that you can't bear to part with it, you can purchase it. Contact our customer support team, and they will assist you in converting your rental into a purchase. In most cases, a portion of your rental fees can be applied toward the purchase price, making it an even better deal. Just keep in mind that the item's availability for purchase may vary, so it's a good idea to inquire as soon as you decide to keep it.
